Nearly 170 public pensions participated in the 2025 Public Pension Compensation Survey. Conducted annually by NCPERS and CBIZ, the survey captures compensation data on 90 positions commonly found at public pension funds, as well as details on benefits, fund oversight, salary increase planning, and bonuses.
The survey results are now available in a detailed report and interactive dashboard, providing a robust dataset intended to help funds benchmark their compensation and benefits packages against peers. View a sample of the report.
The dashboard allows organizations to filter the data by various criteria—such as region, number of fund staff, or assets under management—enabling them to optimize the mix of funds to which they would like to compare themselves.
